About Me

I am at the intersection of sustainability issues (energy, environmental, & urban policy) and technology (data analysis, visualization, & development).

In 2014, I graduated with a double first in Engineering (Chemical) and Social Sciences (Economics) from the top varsity in Asia, the National University of Singapore. I am also a proud alumnus of Tembusu College, where my best years in University were spent. More recently in May 2015, I completed my Master of Public Administration (Environmental Science & Policy) from the School of International & Public Affairs of Columbia University.

RetrofitNY

RetrofitNY is a capstone consulting project commissioned by the Building Energy Exchange of New York City to improve multifamily energy efficiency in the city. I led a team of 9 other graduate students on this project.

Opinion Piece on Transboundary Haze

My undergraduate economics thesis supervisor, Prof Alberto Salvo, and I co-authored an OpEd for the Straits Times' Ask: NUS Economists column. The essay was published on June 5, 2014. We argued that despite drawbacks, a multilateral approach to tackling the regional air pollution problem remains apt.
